1. Who we are

RhythmBridge Trials publishes educational information about wearable heart rhythm research and offers an optional courtesy introduction to independent trial programs. We are not a research organization, sponsor, investigator site, healthcare provider, or medical facility, and we do not provide health advice.

2. Information we collect

• Contact details you submit voluntarily: first name, last name, and optionally an email address and a phone number.
• The free text notes you choose to add about your availability or the study areas that interest you.
• Consent records, including which checkboxes you selected, the wording shown to you, and the date and time of submission.
• Basic technical information such as browser type and pages viewed, collected in aggregate to keep the site working.

3. Information we do not collect

We do not request, store, or process health records, diagnoses, test results, insurance details, or protected health information. Please do not send health information through any form on this website. If you send it anyway, we delete it.

4. How we use information

• To answer your inquiry and send the information you asked for.
• To match your stated area of interest with independent programs and to describe a possible introduction to you.
• To send account notification or update messages by SMS if, and only if, you checked the relevant consent box.
• To keep records that show when and how consent was given and withdrawn.

5. SMS consent and mobile data

SMS consent is collected separately from every other permission and is never bundled with another agreement. Mobile numbers and SMS consent are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Consent is never a condition of using this website. See the SMS Terms of Service for message categories, frequency, and opt out keywords.

6. When information is shared

• With an independent trial program only after we have described that specific introduction to you and you have agreed to it, and only for the purpose of that introduction.
• With service providers that host this website or deliver messages on our behalf, under contracts that limit them to that work.
• When required by law, regulation, subpoena, or a lawful government request.

7. What we never do

• We never sell, rent, or trade your information.
• We never share consent data with research organizations, sponsors, drug development companies, or third party marketers.
• We never send messages in a category you did not agree to.

8. Retention

Inquiry details are retained only as long as needed to answer you and to document consent, then deleted on a routine schedule. Opt out records are retained indefinitely so that a withdrawn consent is permanently honored.

9. Your choices and rights

• Reply STOP to any message to end SMS messages immediately.
• Email us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the details you submitted.
• Ask us to confirm whether you are on the opt out list.
• Residents of some states have additional rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sharing. We honor these requests for all visitors regardless of location.

10. Security

Submissions travel over an encrypted connection and access to stored records is limited to the people who handle inquiries and consent. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we limit what we collect in the first place.

11. Children

This website and the coordination service are for adults who are 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we delete it if we learn we have received it.

12. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version is posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes affecting SMS messaging do not apply retroactively to consent already on file.
